**WHAT YOU WILL DO?**

As Senior Fund Accounting Manager (SFAM) you are part of the Funds department and work closely together with legal and accounting colleagues and fund specialists to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. The Senior Fund Accounting Manager is responsible for a portfolio of predominantly Private Capital fund structures and will manage and oversee a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities of our growing portfolio. In this position you’re the main contact for a defined number of clients, you’re pro-actively contributing to the further development of our fund services discipline and promoting Trustmoore’s client centric operating model.

Main responsibilities are:

- Managing a client portfolio and be the first point of contact towards clients, client’s accountants and (tax) advisers regarding all financial and tax responsibilities;
- Client relationship management by maintaining senior relationships with (potential) clients as well as in
- and external stakeholders;
- Performing oversight on NAV reports, budgets, cash flow statements and statutory annual financial statements (LUX GAAP/ IFRS);
- Managing bank accounts and monitoring transactions of our clients and their structures, authorizing payments;
- Maintaining an organized planning of work and manage competing priorities to ensure client’s expectations are timely met and in accordance with Service Level Agreements;
- Optimizing and aligning operational procedures and checklists (e.g. ISAE 3402), including system enhancements to maximize the efficiency of the accounts production process and client experience;
- Guiding and supporting the fund accounting team in Sofia and acting as a sounding board for them;
- Performing miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements; and
- Actively sharing financial and accounting knowledge (cross border).

**HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?**

As a SFAM, you need to manage ad-hoc activities next to your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. A helicopter view is required, you are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess good communication skills and not afraid of asking questions.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, accounting or an equivalent;
- Proven relevant work experience of minimum 5-8 years;
- Strong knowedge of of generally accepted accounting principles;
- Knowlegde of FIS/Investran (financial accounting system) would be a plus;
- An entrepreneurial spirit and affinitity with business development;
- A problem-solving attitude and proven management skills;
- Willing to take on client directorships;
- Fluent in English (both orally and in writing), knowledge of French/German/Dutch is an advantage;
- Is quality focused and business-minded with ability to deliver excellent service to our clients.
