We are seeking a
**Reporting & Accounting Officer** for our client, a European Institution for a temporary contract.

Your Responsibilities
- Take charge of overseeing accounting and reporting procedures to ensure accurate and timely generation of financial statements and reports
- Develop, establish and document a control framework while executing corresponding checks to identify any irregularities in accounting and reporting
- Plan and conduct comprehensive accounting analyses, offer resolutions and recommend their implementation within the relevant IT systems
- Remain updated of the latest advancements in the accounting domain

Your Profile
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
- Preferred possession of an internationally recognized professional Accounting or Finance qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of professional Accounting experience within the Financial industry or an Audit firm
- Profound understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and EU Accounting Directives
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven track record of performing rigorous analytical work
- Extensive involvement in external audit processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA ideally) and a strong command of other standard MS Office tools
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English, along with a good command of French
