**Scope of work**:
The Engineering Manager is a key member of our Engineering Department for fostering the growth and career of our engineers and helping them become the best they can be. You are a reliable trustworthy problem solver and can use your technical skills and expertise to define a growth path and guide the development of engineers at varying stages of their careers to achieve more.

You will ensure psychological safety in your teams and with your management mentorship you assist them in finding ways to increase their efficiency and quality, all in close collaboration with the Scrum Masters and Product Managers. You enjoy helping people by giving clear feedback about their individual performance. Your profound knowledge of our tech stack, languages and tools will enable you to **guide **your teams in taking important tech decisions and to uncover critical dependencies.

As such a key member, you will also play a significant role in shaping the overall engineering organization, from staffing teams to implementing new processes to improve collaboration between them.

**The profile**:

- You have a Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field
- You ideally have 3+ years of professional experience as a member of an engineering team, be it frontend, backend or quality assurance focused
- You have at least 2+ years of proven experience as an Engineering manager or a similar role
- You are passionate about helping people and fostering their growth, on a personal and professional level
- You are passionate about software development and knowledgeable in all stages of the development life cycle, from idea generation to deployment
- You have experience with most of the following technologies: Go, Node.js, React, C++, Qt, Docker, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis
- You have a good team spirit and communicate easily in an international and multicultural environment
- You are fluent in English

**You get bonus points if you have the following**:

- Strong frontend development related background (React, Angular)
- Experience in the field of employee development frameworks
- Experience in the field of feedback frameworks and models
- Experience with agile development
- You are fluent in French
