**We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Architect to join our Business Intelligence (BI) architecture team. In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage secure data integration solutions between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms. Your contributions will ensure seamless integration of cloud services like Power BI and Azure Data Analytics with on-premises data sources, supporting diverse internal information systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Design and Implementation**:

- Develop and maintain the technical design for a secure Microsoft On-Premises Data Gateway solution, adhering to enterprise standards.
- Manage high-availability and load-balanced gateway clusters.
- Continuously improve BI hosting services by incorporating new features and updates.
- Design service delivery pipelines, including inventory and monitoring systems.

**Documentation and Training**:

- Create and update comprehensive service documentation, including architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Train team members and stakeholders on gateway usage and troubleshooting.

**Advisory Support**:

- Collaborate with developers and analysts to implement and optimize data integration scenarios using Power BI, PowerApps, and Azure Logic Apps.
- Provide expert advice to enhance service efficiency and resolve complex technical challenges.

**Quality Assurance and Administration**:

- Test new versions and patches for functionality, performance, and security compliance.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of Microsoft On-Premises Data Gateway, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

**Scripting and Automation**:

- Leverage scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Git is an advantage.

**Additional Technical Expertise**:

- Hands-on experience with Power BI, PowerApps, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Qlik Sense administration.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture within medium to large-scale IT environments.
