**Responsibilities**: **Mission**: The Finance Department (DFIN) is responsible for the production and financial management as well as the financial steering of SG Luxembourg. The Strategic Financial Planning department is a team within the Finance Department serving several internal partners of the SG Group. 1) Working closely with the other divisions in the Finance Department, the Strategic Financial Planning department supports the transformation of the Finance Department in a banking environment that is undergoing major regulatory changes and new constraints. 2) In partnership with the banking business lines, the Strategic Financial Planning department ensures the management of activities (revenues, costs, consumption of scarce resources, etc.) in a forward-looking manner (multi-year strategic plan, budget, estimates) and on the basis of the period’s actual results (monthly, quarterly, annual results). In this context, the Strategic Financial Planning department also provides insight to the central Group Finance Department of the BUs (Business Units). 3) In a transversal manner, the Strategic Financial Planning department assists the SG Luxembourg Finance Department in its missions vis-à-vis the SG Luxembourg General Management, the SG Luxembourg Board, regulators and auditors. **Tasks and responsibilities**: **Management control of SGSS Lux activities** - Develop a partnership with the SGSS banking business in Luxembourg and with the finance sector (in particular DFIN / SGSS) - Deepen and implement standardised analyses & processes on the SGSS banking business based on SG Lux practices (with financial focus on NBI & Overheads with the dedicated costs steering team) and the DFIN/SGSS WW sector - Carry out various analyses: profitability of products, activities, business lines, consumption of equity capital, cost trends - Support SGSS/LUX in the transformation of its processes & IS contributing to the financial management of SGSS - Participate in and propose improvements to the finance process (multi-year plan, budget, estimate, actual) of SGSS/LUX - Work with the rest of the Strategic Financial Planning team on cross-cutting and/or BU/SU-related issues "SGSS/LUX Junior Management Control" Manager and "Offshore Strategic Financial Planning team dedicated to SGSS" Leader **Expected output**: - Participate in the timely production of the SGSS business line's NBI newsflashes and CRm - Control of monthly accounting / management entries - Control of business items / KPIs - Coordinate - with DFIN/SGS expectations - the timely production of NBI newsflashes and CRm - Streamline, automate and formalize control and production work on the SGSS LUX scope - Participate in the timely production of media to the General Management of SG Luxembourg (and the Board) - Champion various transformation projects in the Strategic Financial Planning department - Contribute to multi-skilling, by becoming an operational back-up for management controllers*** **Profile required**: **Operational skills** In-depth knowledge of management control / Knowledge of bank accounting Knowledge of the Investor Services business Knack for the use of specific Management Control or office automation (Excel / PPT) IT tools Advanced level of French and English **Behavioural skills** A natural knack for the technical understanding of the banking business Active listening and deadline management skills Priority and deadline management **Managerial skills** Ability to support the development of skills (junior or senior) on a transversal target Delegation and coordination skills Ability to influence Position non submitted to MIF II **Why join us**: Société Générale Luxembourg is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
