The role:_
- Aligned with the CSR and Planning Manager, the (Snr) Transformation Supply Chain and Demand Planning Officer is tasked with harmonizing the organization’s resources with customer demand, aiming to meet expectations, optimize output, and minimize production costs. This involves various elements, such as production facilities, plants, departments, work units, or networks. _
- Key responsibilities encompass:_
- Assessing resource loads and determining optimal inventory levels by effectively balancing production within and between European plants and production lines.
- Analyzing operational data, including output, downtime, absenteeism, shortages, and quality specifications.
- Identifying peak usage times and potential bottlenecks in the production process.
- Developing and maintaining forecast models.
- Coordinating production needs with schedulers and raw material purchasers in the plants.
- Anticipating and addressing conflicts, whether customer-related, product-related, or involving raw materials or production.
- Ensuring ‘on time and in full’ production control.
- Overseeing all ERP-related activities to maintain the system’s currency and alignment with internal and external situations.
- Preparing and participating in departmental and pan-departmental meetings, such as production meetings, S&DB meetings, and S&OP meetings.
- Aligning with sales and marketing to balance customer needs with internal capabilities.
- Recommending adjustments or enhancements in systems and processes to resolve problems or enhance the effectiveness of the job area.
- Undertaking additional projects and duties as assigned by management.
