Operational Risk Manager

and you.:

- hold at least 7 years of experience, preferrably in operational risk management or equivalent risk management functions (incl audit)
- have achieved academic degree or equivalent experience
- have knowledge of the banking industry and/or non-financial and regulatory risks
- are familiar with project management skills
- are fluent in French and English and able to actively participate to business conversations
- knowledge of Financial Reporting and regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage
- ..Then you are our new Operational Risk Officer

Your function will be to:

- Be a driving force of the operational risk management of the bank by providing daily support and challenge to all businesses, contribute ideas for innovative ways of working and help the business prevent and reduce operational risks
- Support and assist Senior Management for any operational risk management related topics
- Challenge the risk assessments (on strategic projects, products and processes) performed by 1st lines of Defense and provide advice, guidance and support
- Monitor and report on operational risks, including to Senior Management
- Perform Second Line Monitoring (SLM) on control-testing activities
- Support and challenge the business in the safe and compliant implementation of change initiatives and sourcing initiatives
- Continuously maintain and foster operational risk awareness within the organisation
- Be a valued partner while remaining fully independent
