Senior Associate in Transfer Agency

**About the role**:
At fundcraft, we’re revolutionising the fund industry through a fully digital, integrated, and scalable product: digital fund operations. Our Transfer Agency team plays a key role in this mission by ensuring accurate and efficient investor onboarding, transaction processing, and investor record keeping for alternative investment funds.

As part of the Product Delivery department, the Transfer Agency function sits at the core of client delivery and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support fund managers and their investors throughout the investor lifecycle, while leveraging technology to streamline and elevate the TA experience in the fundcraft way of working. This position is based in Luxembourg and reports directly to the Manager in Transfer Agency & Register.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of shareholder registers through regular audits and quality control checks. Lead improvements for data integrity. Check that all investor page and all investor/transfer agency information in fundcraft platform is constantly correct and up to date.
- Coordinate the closing process, ensuring all necessary documents and approvals are in place and resolving escalated issues with legal and compliance support.
- Oversee complex transfer cases, ensure SLA compliance, and provide guidance to the Associates in Transfer Agency on handling unique or escalated transfer issues.
- Conduct advanced reviews of reconciliations, ensuring all investors meet capital call requirements, and coordinate with compliance for any exceptions.
- Oversee distribution calculations, ensure payments align with fund agreements, and confirm details with clients prior to release.
- Ensure systematic collection and storage of investor documents, adhering to Luxembourg regulatory standards, and coordinate with compliance for any updates.
- Authorise high-value or complex investor transactions, ensure platform configuration accuracy, and address any restricted transactions in collaboration with compliance.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, provide training to the Associates in Transfer Agency, and act as a mentor to enhance overall team expertise.
- Track KPIs, report on operational metrics to management, and identify areas for efficiency improvements within the transfer agency team.
- Support and contribute on all TA process in platform (closing, transfer of shares and capital call and distributions)

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Fluency in English is required; French, German or Spanish are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Transfer Agency, Investor Services, or Fund Administration within the Luxembourg alternative fund industry.
- Solid understanding of Luxembourg regulatory landscape.
- Strong knowledge of investor lifecycle processes (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls/distributions).
