Outstanding academic qualification
- Significant year’s post-qualification legal experience preferably gathered in-house as well as in international law firm
- Strong transactional background dealing with commercial contracts
- High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as Business Partner to Senior Management
- Great business judgment especially in ambiguous situations
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent English language skills including the ability to draft and negotiate contracts

We are looking for a talented lawyer to help enable third party sellers to provide a great experience to customers shopping in the Amazon store. This is a role that will deal with numerous complex issues including designing the future structure of the business, competition law analysis, and strategic contract negotiations.

The role is based in Luxembourg and will report to an EU Legal Director & Associate General Counsel. Some travel may be required.

Key job responsibilities
You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for advising the EU Fulfilment by Amazon business and the EU third party seller compliance programs on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals and compliance issues, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
