In a constantly evolving environment, this company plays a key role in the crypto-asset markets and ensures strict compliance with current regulations. If you are an expert in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing with a proven track record in financial services, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
**MLRO - Your responsibilities as MLRO**:
- Establish and maintain AML/CTF systems and controls in compliance with Luxembourg legislation and CSSF circulars.
- Oversee the implementation of AML/CTF policies and procedures, including the monitoring of suspicious activities.
- Ensure ongoing training for employees on AML/CTF requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with the Board of Directors and regulators.
- Organize and assist with regulatory visits and audit inspections.
- Monitor regulatory developments and update AML/CTF policies accordingly.
**MLRO - Required profile**:
- A passion for the crypto-asset sector and a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
- Significant experience of at least 6 years in senior compliance functions specialized in AML, including previous MLRO experience.
- Proven experience in developing and managing internal control systems and AML/CTF processes.
- Ability to collaborate with various business functions, particularly with senior management.
- Strong ability to interact with regulators and previous experience with Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs).
- High sense of responsibility and willingness to personally assume legal obligations in financial crime prevention.
- Experience in a regulated and international environment.
