**Senior Business Analyst**
Permanent Contract (M/F)
We are looking for a self-driven, functional expert and tech-savvy individual having the capability of understanding a highly regulated context, as well as the evolution of the different business domains.
Tasks/missions
As a Senior Business Analyst in the Product Design & Cybersecurity team, part of the Digital Business Solutions Department, you will be responsible of understanding, gathering and transforming the needs into actionable IT projects within the business area around Market platform, Market Data, KYC, etc. In your role, you will be supported by enterprise and solution architects, as well as security and risk stakeholders.
Your responsibilities typically, include:
- Lead the improvement and enforcement of best practices in Business Analysis within a team of four BAs, and act as BA sub-team lead for the CTO heading the Product Design & Cybersecurity team
- Be the main point of contact for business departments, especially Market and Compliance
- Perform studies and analyse improvement opportunities
- Gather requirements and write functional and technical specifications, as well as test cases
- Foster innovation for business departments taking into account the business challenges and trends, the foreseen evolution of processes and tools
- Provide regulatory updates
- Lead the business analysis practice by example, improve maturity of the activities.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Economics or similar
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as Business Analyst (preferably in an advisory firm)
- Proven experience in the financial sector in Luxembourg with knowledge of capital market, trading of securities and/or KYC processes and regulation
- Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills
- Good teamwork with team leadership and ability to collaborate transversally
- Fluency in English and French.
