Archivist and Admnistrative Assistant

Our client, a European Institution, is looking for an Administrative and Archivist Assistant who speaks English fluently. The temporary job starts as soon as possible.
- Assess Existing Materials: Review the current collection of paper-based documents
- Digitalise the information: when needed, digitise paper documents, ensuring consistent metadata tagging for easy retrieval.
- Create detailed records using standardised metadata schemas, enhancing searchability and link digital files to their corresponding catalogue entries.
- Ensure user access: comply with internal standards for navigating the digital inventory.
- Ensure effective and accurate filing of electronic, hard copy documents, and other information for easy access and retrieval
Qualifications:
- Certified secondary level education
- Any additional certifications indicating specialisation would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of standard computer tools and MS Office tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
