**About the Team & Business Line**:
The Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) business line provides comprehensive services for corporate entities and investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Our global network and award-winning technology support private market investors across various asset classes, helping clients navigate increasing regulatory and compliance requirements. The Sales Team generates new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with prospective clients and partners, including lawyers, tax advisors, and accountants. We enhance Citco's market visibility through conference attendance and content creation, demonstrating thought leadership.

**Responsibilities**
**Your Role**:
Drive Citco's growth in Luxembourg's thriving alternative investment fund industry. As a key member of our European Sales Team, you'll leverage your expertise in AIFs, AIFMD, and cross-border investment structuring to cultivate relationships and secure new business opportunities. Focusing on private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt, you'll be our go-to expert for Luxembourg solutions. This role offers exciting potential to expand into the German market, positioning you as a pivotal player in Citco's European expansion. Join our collaborative team and shape the future of AIF service solutions in one of Europe's most dynamic financial hubs.
**Market Research and Sales Strategy**:
- Partner with the Head of Sales and the business intelligence team for market research and strategy development
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand client base
**Network Development and Business Generation**:
- Develop and maintain a network within Luxembourg's alternative investment fund industry, focusing on private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt
- Represent Citco at industry events and conferences in Luxembourg and abroad
- Collaborate with other members of the Sales Team and local offices to win new client mandates
**Client Engagement and Service**:
- Leverage industry knowledge about alternatives, AIFMD, Luxembourg-domiciled funds, and cross-border investment transactions to provide tailored client solutions
- Lead Citco proposition presentations in client meetings
- Serve as primary local contact for key clients, enhancing relationships and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Deliver exceptional client service, promptly addressing inquiries and issues
**Content and Materials**:
- Work with sales support team to prepare client materials (presentations, pitches, proposals, RFP responses)
- Work with the marketing team to create thought leadership content
**Risk Management and Compliance**:
- Mitigate operational and reputational risks to Citco
- Adhere to internal risk management procedures
**Communication and Process Improvement**:
- Establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders
- Improve efficiency and workflow processes
- Provide timely, accurate reports to Head of Sales
**Qualifications**
**About You**:
- Bachelor's or Master's in (Tax)Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years in financial services, with knowledge of alternative investment funds, AIFMD, and cross-border investment structuring
- Established network in Luxembourg, preferably also in Germany
- Excellent communication skills in English, preferably also in German
- Professional attitude and commercial acumen
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and willing to travel for business development
- Strong teamwork skills, offering and seeking support when needed
