Currently collaborating with a growing authorised AIFM managing AIF pursuing Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Fixed Income strategies, I am looking to hire a Risk & Compliance Officer.
**Risk**:
Perform regulatory risk management for AIFs (e.g. private equity, real estate, debt and infrastructure) and the AIFM
Perform risk monitoring including stress-testing, assess risk limits in accordance with PPM
Producing regular risk reports and annual risk reports to the Management and the CSSF
Advise during fund setup concerning risk related topics
Assist and participate to risk identification, measurement, monitoring and reporting
Handle risk reviews to ensure that the AIFM is acting in accordance with relevant regulations
Prepare risk and ad hoc reports for Regulator, Management Committee, Board of Directors and client AIFs
Interaction with fund initiators, investors, auditors, and the competent regulatory authorities
Monitor regulatory developments and adapt policies/ processes as applicable
**Compliance**:
Responsible for producing timely and accurate Compliance and AML reports for the AIFM and the CSSF
Ensure the AIFM complies and meets KYC obligations (conduct automated KYC screening and reporting), to safeguard the AIFM from any AML potential risks.
Assist in any request coming from the internal and external auditor of the AIFM from a Risk and Compliance point of view.
Support in the identification and assessment of compliance risks including AML/CFT risk as well as applicable laws and regulations
Monitoring compliance with all guidelines, circulars and laws
Screening of planned fund projects from a risk and compliance perspective
Maintain the compliance manual containing policies and procedures
Implementation of a risk-based compliance monitoring program to review the adequacy of control processes
Drafting of regular reports to Management and Boards on the status of compliance and risk matters
Perform AML/KYC controls at client onboarding and periodic reviews
**Profile**:
2- 6 years of professional experience in Luxembourg in the risk management and compliance functions of an AIFM, in the field of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and Infrastructure
Profound knowledge on AIFM legislation and CSSF Circular 18/698
Solid knowledge in risk management in the Luxembourg funds industry
Interest in dealing with the regulatory framework regarding risk management, for example Luxembourg fund law, AIFMD, CDR, ESMA guidelines, CSSF circulars etc.
Fluent in English. French is an advantage, any other language would be considered as an asset
Team player with ability to work with clients and other departments
