Our client is a global organisation dedicated to putting information at the service of medicine by improving medical care.

**Role**: In-house Accountant (CDI, full time) - Luxembourg

**Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Control the A/P invoices vs. standard price lists and contracts
- Ensure A/P invoices are entered accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain clean A/P Aging report
- Resolve A/P issues with vendors.
- Assure accuracy and timeliness of A/P close schedule activities including accruals, re-classes and special research issues.
- Control and process the employee’s expense sheets

**Billing / Accounts Receivable**
- Issuance of billing invoices to clients ( internal and external) in a timely manner
- Ensure that all the financial database are updated with the correct sales value and information
- Debt collection and aging reports
- Cash collection forecasting

**Payments**
- Collect and update the vendor’s details
- Enter the payments in the online banking system
- Record the bank transactions in the accounting system
- Do the daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare and send the remittance advises to the vendors

**Other tasks**
- Identify problems, communicate to the management and propose solutions
- Maintain sub-ledgers and/or supporting detailed spreadsheets
- Assist in month-end closing
- Be the back-up of other team members
- Any ad-hoc financial duties

**Profile**:

- Degree in Accounting or Administration
- First relevant work experience in accounting
- Excel - Advance Level user with ability to use Look up and Pivot tables
- Good level in English (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to details
- Good communicator
- Ability to think outside the box whilst maintaining a high discipline in good finance management and controls
- Ability to work to very tight deadlines as well as juggling multiple priorities
- Willingness to learn and take on more responsibilities
- Ability to work as a team as well as comfortable to stand alone
