HI Partners is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join a team as an Accountant in a prestigious company located in Luxembourg. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks and maintaining financial records.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough accounting checks.
- Perform year-end posting.
- Prepare annual financial statements and interim financial statements.
- Prepare periodic tax and VAT returns, including recapitulation for intra-European goods and services.
- Independently manage balance sheet accounting processes.
- Conduct administrative audits.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with reconciliation.
- Report, evaluate, and interpret figures for planning and control purposes.
- Be the primary contact for management regarding accounting matters and operational controlling.
- Perform reconciliation of G/L, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Accounts.
- Serve as a point of contact (internal/external) for accounting transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Act as a liaison with external partners such as auditors and tax consultants.
- Register new companies and provide ongoing support in regards to VAT compliance.
- Independently monitor all tax deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Fluency in German and/or French.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg accounting regulations is a plus.
