**Your role**:

- Support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and security policies in conjunction with senior safety officers
- Assist with daily safety operations and follow-up activities within the FSTM
- Participate in workplace inspections and help identify safety risks
- Contribute to risk analysis and support the development of risk management strategies
- Help investigate workplace incidents and suggest preventive actions
- Coordinate basic safety training needs for staff in collaboration with the team
- Respond to requests for improving working conditions across UL entities
- Assist in drafting safety procedures and project guidelines with guidance from experienced colleagues

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant initial experience in a similar role
- Genuine interest in workplace safety and motivation to grow in the field
- Basic understanding of HSSE principles and Luxembourgish safety legislation
- Ability to communicate clearly and build trusted relationships with staff
- Analytical thinking with a focus on practical, safety-oriented solutions
- Willingness to contribute to safety campaigns, training sessions, and awareness efforts
- Ability to work collaboratively with other safety officers and departments
- Proactive attitude and readiness to take initiative under supervision
- Good organizational skills to support safety-related activities
- Fluency in English and intermediate level in either French or German
