**Junior Legal Counsel**
The junior legal counsel in the Legal department will provide support to the Legal & Insurance Director to ensure the prompt delivery of accurate legal advice in the fields of corporate, contract, insurance, and general commercial law as well as on compliance and litigation related matters.
**Responsibilities and activities**:*

- Perform legal research, assist with reviewing and drafting legal contracts, and help develop document and policy best practices
- Assist with various projects in support of the business, including contract negotiation
- Supporting the improvement of the quality of the legal advice
- Being involved in the corporate legal projects
- Support the Legal & Insurance Director on corporate matters (board meetings, general assembly meetings, communication with shareholders on legal matters), preparation and assistance during audit (collecting all documentation throughout the fiscal year, summaries of liabilities/litigation, list of counsels etc.)
- Assistance with tax/court authorities
- Provide support to other departments in the office that may be required,
- Assist in managing inquiries, prioritizing requests, updating document statuses, and managing contract execution
- Set up of a contract management database
**Desired Qualifications and Experience**:
- Degree in Law
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French is essential
- Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational, recordkeeping and record management skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines
- Experience of 1 or 2 years desirable, ideally in the aviation sector
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who thrives on challenges
