**Context**:
ArcelorMittal is engaged in a very ambitious and challenging Decarbonisation target to reach net zero in 2050. Intermediate objectives have been set in 2030, -25% at group level and -35% at Europe level and will be reached thru an unprecedented steelmaking transition.
This upheaval requires a brand-new approach to the overall supply chain that will be completely transformed, especially for renewable energy, green hydrogen, green DRI, CCS (carbon capture and storage).
The spearhead of this transformation is the newly created Decarbonisation Partnerships & JVs.
In coordination with Operations, Government Affairs, Procurement, M&A, the objective is to both fulfil ArcelorMittal decarbonisation targets and initiate vertical integration.
Within Europe-Flat organisation, with a Group mandate, Decarbonisation Partnerships & JVs has the mission to create, implement and develop JVs
- In each of the businesses: Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen, Green DRI, CCS
- To foster innovative solutions and cross-fertilize Manage & Develop JVs from their initial business scope
The Green Hydrogen Intern accountability consists in providing support to Green Hydrogen Projects Development up to Financial Investment Decision, with a priority on French perimeter.
**Your missions**:
- **Technical and engineering studies**
- Follow up technical Pre and Front End and Engineering Design (FEED) studies with internal and external stakeholders (OEM, EPC, Owner Engineer) with a focus expected on the balance of the plant and the plant interface integration
- Analyse, document and consolidate deliverables progress reports and meetings minutes
- Support revision of required contractual documents (inc. permitting) or offers
- Propose and implement technical and capex database consolidation with Analyst(s)
- **Funding and Financing**
- Develop financing and bankability analysis in coordination with Analyst(s)
- **Project coordination and ad hoc reporting for steering committees and internal stakeholders**
- Prepare synthetic presentations covering project update status, budget, etc.
- Participate to Project phase 2 commercial and technical developments
- **Market watch related to projects execution**
- Suggest and execute ad-hoc market intelligence analysis, subsides tender award analysis, competition watch, partner news update
**Your profile**:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (first or second year)
- Proven interest for energy, decarbonization, hydrogen, processes in an industrial sector. A first internship experience would be a plus
- Fluent in English and French, other European languages are a plus
**Your skills**:
- Agility, curiosity, willingness to learn and explore decarbonization and hydrogen topics
- Technical and numerical skills: appetite for numbers navigation and technical discussions
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Good communication (discussion, presentation, meetings preparation), ability to connect with people, persuasion
- Ability to navigate through a multi-cultural, international environment
- Well organized and committed to meet deadlines Team player
**Geographical scope of mission**:
The position is based in Luxembourg, in the Green Hydrogen Team lead by the Green Hydrogen Head.
