Based in Belval (Esch-sur-Alzette), Thales Alenia Space in Luxembourg develops state-of-the-art digital space solutions, using big data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity technologies to address complex end-to-end systems’ challenges.

We are currently looking for a

**Tech Lead**
**[Space for Sustainable Finance]**

**What we can do together**

As Tech Lead for an innovative space project centered on sustainable finance, you will steer key decisions related to our system architecture, software design, and tech stack.

You will join an intrapreneurial Agile development squad and will bring technical expertise, leadership, and vision to the team.

Your key responsibilities will additionally include:

- being the technical representative towards our customers
- actively contributing to the development of the solution
- aking accountability for the technical aspects of project, including all the code we deliver. In particular, you will ensure that our releases are functional, tested, on-time, and well-documented
- understanding end-users’ needs and context in order to develop a solution that uses appropriate technologies and COTS (Commercial-off-the-Shelf)
- supporting other developers in their technical tasks
- building trust and contributing to the growth in skills, mindset, and collaborative culture within our team and across the organization
- staying up-to-date with relevant technologies and identifying innovative best practices and tools that could improve our ways of working.

**About you**

Ideally, you should have 5+ years of development experience - plus an Engineering/Master’s Degree in computer science or related field - and strong proficiency in English.

You should also have experience with the following:

- Server-side programming languages: at least one of Java, Python, NodeJS, or Go
- Databases: PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB (preferred); MySQL or Oracle (as alternatives)
- API development: experience building RESTful APIs and knowledge of tools and frameworks like Postman, OpenAPI,
- Version control: Git
- Containerization: proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes

Fulfilling any of the following points would also be considered an asset:

- Cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- French language proficiency.
