**DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN**

**Recruitment Context**: Objective: To support the creation of a European data center platform in response to rapidly growing digital service demands. You’ll be attached to the parent holding, a subsidiary of a European investment group, working within a rapidly expanding structure across Northern Europe, with a focus on the Nordic countries. You’ll have the opportunity to launch and develop a central Procurement function within the global platform.

**Location**: Luxembourg / Contract Type: Permanent Remote Work: Possible, with monthly presence required at the Luxembourg headquarters.

**Your Role**: As Director of Procurement, you will act as the CFO’s right hand, a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in the data center sector. You will work closely with him, leveraging his pragmatic vision to optimize the procurement strategy and implement innovative initiatives to strengthen the organization’s competitiveness.

**Your Responsibilities**:As Procurement Director, you will manage sourcing, purchasing, and technical equipment management in a competitive and evolving environment.
- Strategic Procurement: Develop procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve quality; identify and negotiate with suppliers while maintaining strategic relationships.
- Supplier & Purchasing Management: Oversee tenders, optimize the purchasing budget, and build strong relationships with key suppliers in each country of operation. This role requires a hands-on approach while maintaining a global vision, with particular focus on interacting with local stakeholders. You’ll also conduct performance audits to ensure effective partnerships.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Manage materials logistics for data centers, develop contingency plans, and reduce logistics costs.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure operational compliance with policies, and identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Reporting: Establish rigorous reporting to collaborate closely with the CFO and create a solid foundation for the procurement function.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus).
- 5-7 years of experience in cross-country or European procurement and purchasing, ideally in data centers or technology sectors.
- Proven experience in negotiation and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics management.
- English C1/C2; any other European language (French, Dutch, etc.) is a plus.
