**Senior Private Equity Investment Officer**
Permanent contract (F/M)
We are looking for a proactive individual with an appetite to learn and grow within our Strategic and Corporate Development team.
Tasks/missions
As a Senior Investment Officer in the Strategic and Corporate Development team (S&CD) you will be responsible for the oversight of our PE/VC investment portfolio which consists of strategic participations in start-ups and mature private companies. You will provide quantitative and financial analyses as well as prepare strategic insights to support the senior management in the successful development and execution of LuxSE’s investment strategy.
Your tasks typically, include:
- Perform operational and financial analyses and KPI tracking through regular follow-ups with the senior executive management of each underlying investee company
- Prepare key portfolio analytics for senior LuxSE management and committees including liquidity and investment risk in line with our investment management procedures and policies
- Coordinate accounting, reporting, and controlling of the investee companies with the Finance department and coordinate the related, external audit processes
- Formulate views on appropriate capital call planning and perform investment benchmarking and market analysis for decision support
- Undertake monitoring reviews on the portfolio management entities at appropriate intervals and support the S&CD team during due diligence exercises on new investment opportunities
- Support/drive continuous development and refinement of LuxSE’s performance management and reporting and refine related policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support for the daily management of financial operations to selected start-up companies in our portfolio i.e. cash management, accounting and similar matters
- Help formulate investment and divestiture strategies and assist with transactions and valuations
Profile
- Master’s degree and at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in a Private Equity house including Due Diligence, portfolio monitoring and reporting.
- An analytical and quantitative mindset with the ability to connect high-level strategic thinking to details in company’s financials. A positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task while clearly communicating both verbally and in writing, a very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel as well as proficiency in English are also required.
