**Job Description**:
We have a superb role for a Luxembourg accounting professional to join a leading provider of fund services, which has a dynamic and innovative culture, renowned for its investment in people and strong client service delivery record.

Our client is looking for a Senior Fund Accounting Manager to focus on a varied portfolio of fund structures, focusing on real estate investments and to lead, support and develop a team.

People management is key in this role, you will be developing teams (including Managers), involving driving career developing programs; coaching, training and support.

You will oversee client service delivery and lead a variety of project initiatives across the business line and business as a whole.

You will lead and develop important client relationships, building trust, imparting knowledge and advice and assisting clients to achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities:
? You will manage and oversee various fund structures within a team

? Act as a high level authority on accounting and reporting matters

? Manage a team who review the bookkeeping for a range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures

? Review all aspects of accounting matters for a limited portfolio of fund structures

? Attend client board meetings and present quarterly financial information

? Lead and project manage various business initiatives

? You will be responsible for the review and preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns, and liaise with foreign tax advisors

? Lead, supervise and assist in the training and development of staff

? Arrange and manage the appraisal process for members of staff

? Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance

? 8-12 years post qualification experience supported by a relevant professional qualification (ACCA or ACA)

? Strong people management skills, enjoy this element of the job and succeed in business high performing teams

? Sound technical financial services knowledge

? Computer literacy, word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential

? Minimum of 5 years working in an accounting function in Luxembourg

? Strong knowledge of alternative investment funds and the applicable regulatory environment (especially in Luxembourg)
