**Job Description**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Risk Management to join our client, an esteemed Global Asset Manager. This is a new role in Luxembourg within the Risk Management team (focus is UCITS Funds) where the initial remit is twofold.

As a Senior Risk Manager, you will initially lead and responsible for the project design, scope and delivery of an updated swing pricing process. Upon delivery of this ‘project’, daily focus will include Risk Management responsibilities related to [either] investment and market risk (e.g. VaR, counterparty risk, liquidity risk) and/or operational risk management objectives.

If you have at least 5 years’, experience with understanding of swing pricing, process optimization; risk management along with an understanding of UCITS Funds - this could be a great growth opportunity for you.

There are many interesting dimensions to the role, which might include but are be not limited to:

- Updating the swing pricing process, partnering with key stakeholders to understand key requirements and industry best practice across process and architecture
- Managing the ‘project’ to delivery; including managing stakeholders, identifying and resolving issues
- BAU management: being responsible for effecting swing pricing oversight and calculations to ensure continued effectiveness in line with policy, procedure, regulations and industry best practice
- Involvement in Swing Pricing and Valuation committees as well as other senior stakeholder forums
- Working closely with internal teams, building on existing relationships to drive risk management agenda forward - focus might include investment and market risk (VaR, counterparty risk, liquidity risk) and/or operational risk management objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following experience:

- At least 5 years’ experience within funds industry in Luxembourg, ideally with expertise and experiences in funds (UCITS)
- Knowledge of swing pricing and associated process, experience in an oversight and/or risk management role (investment risk and/or operational risk)
- Must be collaborative and able to build strong relationships across internal and external partnerships
- Excellent project management and delivery skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills. Good knowledge of Excel/VBA
- Organized with pro-active attitude to problem solving, solution orientated.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal, with another European language advantageous
