Are you ready to lead strategic compliance and risk initiatives in a dynamic, globally integrated business?

We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic and proactive **Senior Manager, Compliance & Risk** to join our Luxembourg office. This role will assume leadership across both strategic and operational compliance functions, with the opportunity to hold key regulatory roles such as **Responsable du contrôle du respect des obligations professionnelles (RC)** and **Compliance Officer (CO)**.

**Your New Role**

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:
**Strategic Leadership**:
Contribute to and advise on key business and regulatory strategy

Assess and prepare for regulatory changes related to new services or product lines

Provide commercial yet compliant advice in line with legal and regulatory expectations

Represent Luxembourg Compliance in global initiatives and forums

**Operational Excellence**:
Support and potentially assume the role of RC and CO for the Luxembourg business

Assist the RR and support all day-to-day compliance obligations

Implement and oversee the CSSF’s AML/CFT framework and maintain local policy documentation

Track and interpret relevant regulatory developments and CSSF circulars

**Governance & Oversight**:
Lead client onboarding oversight, transaction monitoring, and local risk assessments

Develop and implement the Compliance Monitoring Programme for Luxembourg

Maintain effective governance reporting mechanisms for stakeholders

Drive compliance training and awareness across business lines, including DAC6, FATCA/CRS, and tax fraud prevention

**Leadership & Collaboration**:
Serve as the primary point of contact with the CSSF and other relevant authorities

Support and lead recruitment, training, and performance management within the GRC function

Foster a strong compliance culture based on transparency and the three lines of defence model.

Mentor and guide our peoplet o ensure continuous improvement and best practice adherence

**What will you need to succeed in this role?**

As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

- Experience of managing a regulatory relationship within the Luxembourg finance industry
- RC certification or related experience
- AML qualifications, such as ACAMS
- Previous experience in a compliance or control function within a financial institution, covering both unregulated and regulated products (AIF, SOPARFI, SIF, SICAR)
- Substantial and demonstrable experience in a senior compliance role
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory environment in Luxembourg
- Knowledge of procedures review and project management is a distinct advantage
- Fluent in English, any other language (desirable)
- University degree in Law, Finance or Economics (desirable)
- Recognised and relevant professional qualification (preferably ICA) (desirable)
- System migration (desirable)
- Internal Audit and Risk management processes (desirable)
