**Your area of work**

In your new position, you will provide IT security expertise in support to the business and in line with the key responsibilities

**Your responsibilities**
- Provide guidance for the deployment of Infrastructure Security technologies & processes, especially in the area of Distributed Systems. Ensure daily operational duties relating to security management in compliance with relevant policies and industry best practices
- Prepare and drive security baseline and hardening management for IT assets operated within Deutsche Boerse Group. Organise and conduct review of information systems for actual or potential breaches in security
- Enable and establish appropriate reporting and notification to various stakeholders. This also includes escalation if security baseline requirements are not adhered to
- Perform technology risk assessments as well as provide recommendations for appropriate controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems/services
- Ensure continuous service improvements also by considering changes in law or regulation that require reflection to maintain strong service capabilities
- Write and review technical documentation

**Your profile**
- University degree in IT, business informatics, or comparable education
- At least 5 years experience in information security management, ideally in the financial industry or comparable regulated business environment
- Ability to structure complex matters and drive to resolution
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proven documentation methodology
- Distinctive knowledge in cyber security tooling for On-Prem and Cloud propositions
- Knowledge of general legal and regulatory conditions and requirements in the financial industry for Center for Internet Security Benchmark (Standard Baseline) and additionally for example ISO 2700x, German BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIST, COBIT
- Certifications like CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CISA or similar is an advantage
- Experience as (former) developer is a plus as it supports the understanding the different attack vectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with talent in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
- Strong analytical skills, reliability, and direct responsibility
- Ability to firmly present complex topics in an understandable manner
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, same in German is a plus
- Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated, flexible.
