My client is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join the Security Operations team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and security of the network infrastructure.
**Role**:
- Act as a network security specialist within the Security Operations team.
- Participate in all network security activities to safeguard our systems.
- Control and optimize the configuration of firewall, IDS/IPS, and reverse proxy technologies.
- Collaborate closely with the network team responsible for managing our network infrastructure.
- Generate accurate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding network security.
- Conduct periodic or ad hoc meetings with clients and provide concise meeting minutes.
- Track and ensure timely resolution of action items arising from these meetings.
- Offer expert advice on network security matters during projects and to other teams, including architecture teams.
- Provide assistance in resolving network-related security issues.
**Requirements**:
- Strong expertise in network and network security principles.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewall, IDS/IPS, and reverse proxy technologies.
- Familiarity with SkyBox is considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of AlgoSec is also advantageous.
