**Role: Workplace security specialist (WSS)**

**Description of The Tasks**:

- Conducting security risk assessments in Digital Workplace context
- Diagnose potentially complex security-related and/or identity-related issues,
- Design, implement and support effective solutions for mitigating security risks
- Integrating different security technologies in a complex environment.
- Integrating end point security solutions but with knowledge of backend server and network infrastructure
- Provision of security studies associated with information system projects
- Security assessments of information system.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- The Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:
- Very good knowledge of IT Governance processes
- Ability to manage and execute service verification and validation tasks efficiently and fast
- Ability to give business and technical presentations
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in the EOSC Node system of systems
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Analysis and problem solving skills
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills

**Specific Expertise**:

- Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
- There will be a collaborating relationship between the external contractor and the managed service providers of the EOSC Node (i.e., EOSC Node Contractor(s)), where both set of Contractor(s) add direct value to the overall service quality.
- The external contractor shall be able to assess the software tools proposed by the EOSC Node
- Contractor(s) to fulfil the functional and service level specifications of the procurement, as well as the cloud-based service delivery model (hosting and operations) requirement, for code quality, licensing, pre-existing IPR, service quality, and deployment, among others.
- The external contractor shall be able to collect and summarize EOSC user community feedback(based on information provided by the EOSC Node services Contractor(s)) to assess the fitnessof EOSC Node services to the users, and to assist future planning

- ITIL certification
- Knowledge of relevant ISO security standards
- Urgent Openings
