Job Description Summary: The Senior Manager for Project Operations supports engagement and the ongoing operations of projects supported by the FOM team. The Senior Manager has two key focus areas: supporting engagement in our non-US locations and building and enabling both consistency of processes and enhanced insights for projects throughout Finance. The role is built on a sense of collaboration with key partners. For engagement, there is strong partnership with the Sr Manager of Engagement as they are responsible for development of the global strategy for engagement for the Finance org. The Senior Manager Project Operations partners closely with the Engagement team to provide input from a global perspective and help facilitate activities in locations outside the US. Additionally, the leaders of project management teams are key partners to work together to provide a comprehensive view of key project activities and key risks.

**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engagement - Partner with the Senior Manager for Finance Engagement to operationalize the engagement strategy globally to help continuously enhance engagement of the finance organization. This includes:

- Support internship and recent grad programming globally by working with leaders in regions such as EMEA and APAC to ensure a positive experience.
- Be a voice for, and facilitate, development offerings for our global finance team members as a part of our overall development strategy.
- Support and help plan community impact and DIE&B events, activities, and messaging.
- Lead new employee onboarding experience for varying geographies based on the overall engagement plan and content.
- Interact with global finance leaders and share perspectives of key communication and development needs to continue to build an engaged workforce.
- Project Operations - Partner with transformation, project management, reporting/governance and other leaders to drive insights for projects and ensure governance processes are enabled. This includes:

- Work with project managers to ensure documentation for project, such as charter, project plan, RAID log, etc are established and routinely updated.
- Partner with leadership on risk awareness for projects based on elements within the status reports. This includes timing changes, scope changes, missed milestones, RAID items, and budget variances.
- Develop key insights to provide finance senior leadership visibility into areas of risk and focus across the project portfolio.
- Work within finance and technology partners to identify areas of opportunity for increased knowledge and process improvement, and further partnering with both project leadership and the engagement team to create plans for training or process changes.
- Facilitate project retrospectives and create a plan for sharing information to develop culture of learning and embedding project lessons into future work.
