**Responsibilities**:
- Deputy Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Compliance Officer in ensuring the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs
- Monitoring regulatory changes identification and impact analysis in close collaboration with legal and risk department
- Creating, reviewing, and revising compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Manage the compliance risk assessment framework (risk assessment, mitigating measure, key controls) in close collaboration with the risk department
- Advising executives on areas of existing and emerging risks
- Managing and drafting reports on Payconiq audits (internal and external audits)
- Assist the Compliance Officer in managing the requests from the local Regulator or the FIU,
- Assisting the Compliance Officer on planning, organization, monitoring, and communication within the compliance team
- Performing Customer Due Diligence (second line), including transaction monitoring and suspicious activity/transaction reporting to the FIU
- Educating and providing consultative advice and trainings on various regulations
**As a Deputy Compliance Officer you’re able to bring**:
- Academic Law degree
- 5+ years' experience in the financial and payment industry
- Broad legal knowledge of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. Sanctions regulations, Payment Service Directive
- Knowledge of IT security, affinity with a fintech and/or innovative environment is appreciated
- Proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented and able to successfully lead and prioritize multiple projects with mínimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication and issue-spotting skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, French appreciated.
