Job Description:
Your tasks:
As a team member of the Regulatory watch unit, you will be responsible for keeping up with new laws, rules, and regulations as well as modifications to existing ones and evaluating their possible effects on the operations, compliance, and risk management of the company. Manage the operative credit risk and portfolio performance
- Researching and exploiting databases of scientific publications and bibliographies to extract strategic information on the scientific and competitive environment
- Managing the department's various databases
- Managing the archiving of scientific documentation
- Use of artificial intelligence software for data collection (intelligent exploration of information sources, filtering, verification of information quality); and data analysis (identification, contextualization and synthesis of new concepts; content learning to target and improve proposals).
- Identifying the need for maintenance based on the information provided by the digital device. Working on first-level technical elements and/or knowing how to contact the right person in the event of a malfunction (employee, service provider, department, etc.). Designing the risk management process for each partner and documenting the risk policy
- Support clients in regulatory scanning, identifying new challenges, and assessing their impact on business models.
- Aid in strategy development and manage gap analysis projects.
- Summarize regulatory impacts on banks, management companies, and insurers.
- Lead internal projects to enhance:

- Horizon scanning processes.
- Integration of AI in tools.
- External and internal communications.
- Oversee commercial development and conduct impact studies on regulatory changes' effects on business strategies.

Your qualifications:

- Hold a Master degree in Law and/or in Economics.
- 4+years of experience in regulatory matters within the financial industry (banks, investment management, insurance) with extensive knowledge of regulatory topics such as MiFID, PRIIPs, CRD, DORA, MAD, AIFMD, UCITS, or EMIR Strong data analysis skills and advanced analytics in Excel, database management tools and SQL
- Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mind-set
- Have excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
- English fluency for business communication required; German/French proficiency valued.
