**Position**: Risk Officer
**Location**: Luxembourg
The Risk Officer assists the Risk Manager in translating the company's risk appetite and policies into daily business operations. Under the responsibility of the Risk Manager, the Risk Officer ensures the effective operation of the risk management system, executing the risk and governance program, and maintaining an organization-wide and aggregated view of the company's risk profile.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and develop the annual ORSA Report and other Risk reporting (SFCR, RSR, QRTs) for Life and Non-Life entities.
- Assist the team in the preparation of the agenda for ALCO - RICO (Asset Liability Committee / Risk Committee), collect and prepare supporting documentation, and write the minutes.
- Support the design and monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and quality reviews.
- Maintain and develop policies based on the applicable governance framework.
- Create, maintain, and develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external, to support achieving key outcomes.
- Promote a culture of strong risk awareness across the company.
**Required Profile**:
- Master’s degree in Actuarial, Risk Management, Finance, or equivalent.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Strong reporting skills, high degree of independence, affinity with financial markets, actuarial calculations, and insurance concepts (Life and Non-Life).
- Significant risk management experience and understanding of local and SII regulatory framework.
- Experience in writing internal policies, documenting processes, risk, and controls.
- Fluent in English and French. German is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to interpret figures and other actuarial and financial information.
- Team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
**Conditions**:
Pay: €50,000.00 - €80,000.00 per year
