**Main duties and responsibilities**:
As an Junior Accountant, your main responsibilities are:

- Record and process accounting transactions, invoices, and manual or automated payments for several entities.
- Reconcile receivable and payable ledgers, bank accounts, and fixed asset registers.
- Maintain CAPEX lists, track purchase orders and payments, and record fixed asset movements.
- Prepare cost-per-unit calculations, allocate indirect expenses, and record material consumption.
- Support month-end closing activities including accruals, provisions, and intercompany re-invoicing.
- Prepare and review VAT declarations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in external audits, prepare financial reports, and investigate data discrepancies.
- Maintain legal and corporate records such as board minutes and registries.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Solid knowledge of VAT, fixed assets, CAPEX, and month-end processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
