**Role/ Department**:
The purpose of this role is to support the Northern Trust Global Services SE (“NTGS”) CEO and COO to meet their deliverables in their roles as CEO/COO and Authorised Managers of NTGS.
**The key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Governance:_
- Preparation of CEO/COO for key governance meetings, committee presentations and external regulatory meetings.
- Ensure CEO’s/COO’s actions (to or from) meetings (Board and Committee meetings) are documented and tracked to completion.
- Participate in the setting of strategic objectives for the primary business line and oversee effectiveness of governance framework.
- Lead and/or monitor strategic projects (including change projects) requiring coordination across multiple functions and/or multiple jurisdictions.
- Act as lead point of contact for NTGS branch managers on administrative and governance issues.
- Oversight and Risk Management:_
- Serve as key contact point / liaison for the CEO/COO with internal and external stakeholders, Audit Services, Risk reviews and Compliance monitoring reviews.
- Attendance at key governance groups.
- Delegate where appropriate for key business line and project meetings.
- Where reporting indicates a need, support the CEO/COO and take reasonable steps by leading / managing special areas requiring independent review / targeted deep dive (in conjunction with the Control function).
- Ensuring that action plans are executed in a timely manner and effectively.
- Reporting:_
- Co-ordinate timely reporting to any governing bodies within scope.
- Produce other required reporting and presentations for corporate wide initiatives or governance meetings.
**Skills/ Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the fund industry
- Strong operational background in fund administration.
- Self-starter with advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
