Compliance Associate Director

Reporting directly to the Compliance Conducting Officer, this role will support the implementation and review of the Compliance programme of the European business and ensure the AIFM is performing its Compliance monitoring in line with regulatory requirements. In addition, the position will require to have a close cooperation with the Risk function to ensure appropriate implementation of the Group's operational risk framework.
Located in Luxembourg, providing appropriate support, whilst forming close and constructive relationships internally and externally.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Acting as the day-to-day compliance support for management;
- Participating to the maintenance of the Luxembourg Compliance monitoring programme;
- Assisting and deputising for the Compliance Conducting Officer, as well as reporting to the Board of the AIFM and to the Board of the AIFs.
- Assisting the Compliance Conducting Officer in the maintenance and update of policies and procedures as well as the preparation of returns and submissions to the CSSF.
- Carrying out Compliance related reviews;
- Working closely with the business and global Compliance functions to implement related regulatory change, focusing on ensuring a robust control environment is in place to meet the regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with Internal Audit.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications
You will have demonstrable experience of:
- Extensive experience in working in the asset management industry, with a good background in Compliance.
- Previous exposure to the private equity and/or private debt sector would be an advantage
- Ability to work autonomously and to manage priorities within a short timeframe
- Exposure to regulated environment in previous roles.
- Collaborative approach to delivery and results oriented
