**The Opportunity**
Meraki Talent is working directly with one of the leading firms in Luxembourg to help them recruit a tax director with experience in international tax compliance to join their team. This creative, globally operating firm is looking to add a new tax director to their team in Luxembourg. Their dedication to innovation, quality, and long-term expansion distinguishes them in the market.
**Position: Director**
Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Luxembourg operations.
- Experience with International tax compliance
- Create high-achieving individuals and groups through demanding and significant chances.
- Encourage a sense of cooperation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
- Lead and inspire a team of talented professionals to achieve excellence.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and global standards.

**Requirements**:
- Showcase a minimum of 1-year track record as a Director/Associate Director or in an equivalent leadership position within tax compliance or advisory services at a Big Four firm, law firm, or corporate headquarters.
- Previous Luxembourg compliance experience.
- Stand out through demonstrated organisational prowess, flexibility, and proficiency in meeting stringent deadlines.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, fostering and cultivating robust relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Possess solid hands-on leadership experience, showcasing the ability to oversee, inspire, and nurture teams effectively.
- Demonstrate a capacity to devise solutions using a top-tier critical thinking approach.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French/German highly valued.
