Junior Analyst

**Job Summary**
We are actively seeking a proactive, data-driven **Business Finance Analyst** to join our fast-growing team at 3F Venture in Luxembourg, to take ownership of financial reporting, and help us bring structure and insights to our operations.
This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a finance background and a technical edge who wants to grow in a dynamic environment, working closely with senior leadership.

This position is **on-site** in **Luxembourg** and requires fluency in **English**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and improve financial reporting processes (P&L, cash flow, working capital, revenue recognition).
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
- Develop and automate dashboards and reports using Excel/Sheets, SQL, BI tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
- Query and analyze data from relational databases.
- Structure and optimize internal finance and operational processes.
- Handle a mix of tasks; from paperwork and invoice collection to reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and structured information flow.
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects across finance and operations.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:1+ year in Finance, Management Consulting, Big4, Investment Banking, or Private Equity (audit, corporate finance, transaction services, M&A experience is a plus).
- **Finance Knowledge**: Strong understanding of accounting & reporting fundamentals (accruals vs. cash, revenue recognition, working capital mechanics, indirect cash flow).
- **Education**: Degree in Math, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science is a huge plus (STEM background with finance experience strongly preferred).

**Technical Skills**:

- Advanced Excel & Google Sheets (financial models, pivot tables, macros a plus).
- SQL would be a plus (comfortable writing queries).
- Familiarity with BI tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau) is a huge plus
- Proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with AI tools.

**Soft Skills**:

- Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills (French is an advantage)
- Flexible mindset, ambitious, eager to learn, and willing to work extended hours when needed.
