**Job Description**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client, a multinational company, in Luxembourg, as a Treasury Manager. This role sits within the Finance Team and you will report to the Head of Finance and manage a small team of treasury professionals.
The finance team supports a portfolio of unregulated entities including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, debt investments.
- Ensure the Treasury operations and team run effectively from an operational and strategic perspective and in line with all policy and procedures
- Responsible for all cash management and treasury related operations including but not limited to effecting payments (related to involves, capital calls, distributions etc.); reconciliation of payments and resolution of settlement errors; opening bank accounts; production and distribution of any reporting requirements (e.g. cash flow reports), payment confirmation to ensure correct first time processing
- Be involved in all operational controls, measuring and reporting on applicable KPI’s within the team
- Ensure all treasury operations are in-line with company policy and procedure; with adherence to relevant control frameworks such as compliance/FATCA/CRS
- Continually contribute to the improvement of processes and client service quality
- Build strong relationships with the treasury and finance team and work proactively with all stakeholders including tax teams and legal teams; banks and other external stakeholders
- Coach and mentor treasury team, ensuring a collaborative and positive environment
- University Degree in a business related degree
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar Treasury Manager role and working environment; exposure to payments and treasury activity related to unregulated alternative investment structures (including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, debt investments, SPVs)
- Be able to work with confidence and shape best practice in the Treasury/Finance team
- Understanding of internal operational controls & frameworks for payments and treasury department
- Fluent in English both written and verbal, with another European language advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, high degree of professionalism, must be a team player and highly collaborative
- Pro-active attitude to problem solving, solution orientated, with client service excellence skills
