Job description

**Junior Compliance Officer (M/F)**
- For one of our client, a company located near the French border, we are currently looking for a Junior Compliance Officer (M/F) in the framework of a temporary contract with a possibility of permanent one._

**Responsibilities within the organisation**:

- Ensure that all corporate processes and procedures comply with the Law.
- Ensure that company operations comply with internal standards too.
- Ensure that the Company stays abreast of regulatory standards and fulfils the role of in-house screening expert.
- Provide guidance to the business and ensuring that compliance processes are fully implemented.

**Compliance support**:

- Monitor all operational processes and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards in terms of screening of legal entities and natural persons.
- Perform screening of hits in Pythagoras respecting the agreed SLA timeframes.
- Train and educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.
- Act as contact person and liaison between Back Office (Operations team) and the Compliance department for operational hits processing flows or Q-logs questions addressed by Back-Office.
- Conduct regular assessments to determine whether from an Outsourcing perspective the Company is compliant with the law.
- Help for preparation of audits.
- Ensure Regulatory watch.
- Consolidate Compliance dashboards to collect accurate data which help Compliance team to alert the business on any deviations or areas of improvements.
- Escalate to the Chief Compliance Officer any suspicious cases or complex case for further input.

**DPO (Data Protection Officer) support**
- Work directly with dedicated DPA (Data Protection Agent) to ensure compliance of their actions with GDPR in their perimeter.
- Assess compliance of the DPAs actions with the GDPR prerequisites.Based on this compliance assessment provides DPAs guidance on all GDPR thematics which are impacting the processing of activities in their perimeter.
- Ensure awareness of the staff on GDPR thematics.Help for audit preparation.
- Report to DPO the actions taken with DPAs for final decision of the DPO.Escalate to the DPO any issue, deviation from the regulation or data breaches.
- Provide regular status to the DPO on actions taken.

**Your profile**
- Degree in law or similar
- Significant experience of minimum 2 years on a compliance position
- Good command of English and French
- Analytical thinking
- Team spirit
