**We are seeking a Junior Fund Accountant**
Our Fund operations team supports organizations in the efficient management of their fund accounting, consolidation and financial reporting to meet their strategic and financial goals.
As part of a multicultural team of operational experts, you will assist our clients in providing in depth technical and business expertise, you will also support the fund accounting team with regards to accounting operations, preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports for our clients. You will be able to display your communication and commercial skills to develop our clients' relationship.
**What you will be working on**
- Supporting the preparation of Net Assets Value calculations
- Recording accurately, in accordance with policies and procedures, fund financial records
- Reconciling various accounts with respective supporting documentation and calculations
- Responding and supporting client queries in a timely and efficient manner when required
- Supporting the preparation and review of financial reporting and answering any queries in a prompt and professional manner from both preparer and reviewer side
- Communicate any upcoming challenges and incidents to the first line of business (e.g. Manager) that might have a significant impact on our client centric service proposition
- Liaising with internal and external departments, Trustees/Depositaries, Custodians, Auditors, key clients and attending meetings when required
**What we look for**
- You hold minimum a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field
- Master’s degree in the above fields is a plus
- You are a strong team player and display a positive attitude
- You display good communication and organizational skills
- You can work efficiently even under pressure
- You are keen on learning, and driven by client centricity
- You are fluent in English and German and/or French
- Microsoft Excel skills will be considered as an asset
