The firm is focused on European small to mid-cap special opportunities in asset-rich, out-of-favour and/or non-core asset classes. The firm provides asset-backed capital solutions to small and mid-cap businesses and investors, in response to borrowers facing limited access to capital from banks and other traditional sources of funding.
The firm is headquartered in Jersey with offices in London, Madrid, Paris, Geneva and Luxembourg. It currently advises on approx. £3bn of assets across funds.
**Principal Responsibilities**:
Daily accounting of Luxembourg SPVs including monthly/quarterly closing when required
Assist with the preparation of annual Luxembourg statutory accounts (interim and management accounts when required)
Asist in the annual closing and reporting to the authorities (ECDF)
Assist with the preparation of VAT and annual tax declaration for Luxembourg SPVs
Process cash and inter-company accounts reconciliation
Monitor SPV bank accounts and Borrower Debt Service Accounts
Monitor and manage invoices
Preparation of the payments and recharges between the Luxembourg entities
Assisting in the preparation of monthly interest statements for the Borrowers
Ad hoc tasks
**Experience Requirements**:
Degree in Accounting or similar
1-2 years of experience in industry or in a fund/ corporate services company in Luxembourg
Debt investment experience is preferred
Proficient in LuxGAAP would be a strong advantage
Fluent in English (any other language fluency is advantageous)
Working knowledge of accounting software systems (Sage Bob and eFront are advantageous) and highly PC literate
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a small team and autonomously
Ability to respect deadlines
Enthusiastic and committed
Strong communication skills/ability to communicate issues to management
