**Your role**

Are you passionate about investment risk management? Are you interested in getting an investment risk control expert for various types of investment vehicles by joining one of the largest asset managers with exposure to the full breadth of fund types?
- We’re looking for a team member to oversee investment risks in a broad range of UCITS (or alike) fund products. The following tasks are a key part of your agenda:
- Assist in the monitoring of our fund universe and identify, analyse and report risks in line with the investment profile of the fund
- Support in performing fund risk assessments for new fund launches considering regulatory and internal requirements
- Support in managing investment risk related requests from various management companies, boards, clients, auditors, portfolio managers, etc.
- Provide input for investment risk reports inter alia for senior management, fund boards and regulators (e.g. AIFMD report or CSSF risk report).
- Support in different projects, which aim to improve our risk oversight and reporting capabilities for our investment funds (market, credit, liquidity, counterparty risks)

- We are looking to hire a team member for our Investment Risk Control team. The team is responsible for the active identification and independent monitoring of investment risks inherent to the funds under governance of UBS Fund Management (Luxembourg) S.A. The nature of the funds in scope range from simple to highly complex, investing into various asset classes and products such as Equity/ETFs, Fixed Income and Multi Assets, covered in UCITS as well as AIF funds. Being in close contact with the portfolio managers, the product developers and being functionally embedded within the UBS Asset Management Risk Control team will assure that you get the required insights to retain overall control & product concepts, enabling you to fulfill your role efficiently and effectively.

**Your expertise**
- University degree in mathematics, physics, economics, finance or similar
- First experiences in a risk control environment with a good understanding of financial products and fund structures
- Demonstrate knowledge of UCITS regulation, solid understanding of AIFMD is an asset.
- Excellent organisational skills, high responsiveness to priority requests
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative way
- A good communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- Fluent in English is mandatory, German/French an asset.
