Our client, the Luxembourg-based management company of a leading group operating in the Asset Management industry is seeking an experienced:
**PORTFOLIO MANAGER - PRIVATE DEBT**:
**Main responsibilities**:
The Portfolio Manager will be a senior member of the Private Debt Investments team, reporting directly to the Head of Alternative Investments.
He/she will interact across the investment organization within the company and the group, as well as across the firm's corporate and control functions.

**Responsibilities**
- Sourcing and evaluating new transactions
- Pre-screening and conducting due diligence
- Preparing credit memos, pitching transactions to internal committees documenting the rationale for
making investments and monitoring them once selected
- Reviewing legal documentation
- Participating in deal closing
- Managing private debt funds portfolio, monitoring investments performance and covenant compliance
- Managing relationships with all main stakeholders (Institutional Investors, Borrowers, etc.) playing a key role in understanding their needs and expectations.
- 10 years of experience in the financial sector
- 5 years of experience in **debt fund management**/**credit investments** on** italian small/medium enterprises**:

- Deep knowledge of the most common debt financial instruments (loans,bonds, minibonds,)
- Experience in managing investor relations
- Proven execution and negotiation skills with issuers/advisors
- Languages: English, proficiency level both spoken and written. Any other language is a plus (preferably Italian)
