Our client is an independent advisory company based in Luxembourg since 15 years specialized in Risk Management, Compliance, Governance and Internal Audit.

To support its growth and development, we are looking for a new team member to perform advisory missions for prestigious financial institutions based in Luxembourg.

**Your mission**:
You will be in charge of, depending on your experience, participating or leading different types of assignments related to compliance, risk management, governance and internal audit with the following duties:

- Conducting interviews to fully understand the Client’s Business and the associated operational processes;
- Making documented and value-added recommendations to the Senior Management;
- Delivering professional services and good quality outputs & reports;
- Reviewing and controlling processes compared to the policies and procedures in place;
- Defining and performing tests of control on these processes;
- Performing operational risk assessments and proposing mitigating risk response strategies;
- Performing impact and gap analysis on regulatory topics;
- Maintain and developing strong & long-term relations with clients.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- University degree (BAC+4/5 or equivalent) in Finance, Law or Business Administration;
- Several years of practical experience in the financial services sector;
- Ideally, a previous experience in internal audit, external audit (of FSPs/Mancos and Banks), compliance or operational risk management functions as well as in a Finance department of a Bank/FSP;
- Having an expertise in one or several of the following regulations is a plus: AML/CFT/KYC, MiFid, MAD, GDPR, CRD, Solvency, LUXGAAP, IFRS, PRIIPs
- CIA, CRMA, CISA, CFSA or ACCA certifications will be considered as a plus.

**Soft skills and mindset**:

- Excellent written and oral skills in English, any additional language is an asset (French, German, Italian);
- Ability to liaise with Senior Management;
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information and produce concise and constructive summaries;
- Excellent listening and presentation skills;
- Ability to develop and present new/creative ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions;
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to determine causes and produce effective solutions;
- Skills in Microsoft Office products.
