The Luxembourg Stock Exchange is looking for a:
**Chief Technology Officer**

Permanent contract (F/M)

As a technical leader with a solid IT background, you will cooperate closely with the CIO, Member of the Executive Committee of the LuxSE in designing and deploying our IT master plan to support existing and future businesses and developments.

Your proven track record and experience as a CTO or similar leadership role relies on a good knowledge of current market technology and your passion for new emerging innovative IT solutions. You will co-share responsibilities to support LuxSE Group business lines and assure their secure development.

**Responsibilities**:
**Innovate and prepare for the future**:

- Conduct research to improve the technological assets of the company and to keep up-to-date with the advancements of the field;
- Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure that yield competitive advantage;
- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience;
- Support business innovation by selecting and assessing new products and solution;
- Own and drive the IT master plan to ensure technical solution are in place for future evolution in a coherent and secure manner;
- Organize, plan and lead the implementation of strategic IT projects.

**Develop the existing**:

- Supervise security practice.
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals;
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes;
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.

**Lead your team**:

- Assemble, lead and motivate architecture team;
- Provide guidance and support to IT professionals of the organisation;
- Ensure alignment between architecture, cybersecurity and business analysts teams.

Profile
- At least 3 years of experience as a CTO and 10 years in an architecture role;
- At least 10 years of experience in an IT role in a regulated entity of the Luxembourgish financial sector;
- Master's degree in Computer Science;
- Expert in the latest software development solutions and project management methodologies;
- Successful track record of leading significant and complex projects;
- Leadership and organizational abilities;
- Excellent communications skills in English and French, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization;
- Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience and provide recommendations by balancing functionality, risk and ROI;
- Knowledge of the financial markets sector would be an asset.
