Robert Half is working exclusively for a client, a family run and controlled investment holding company. We are actively looking a Financial Analyst (M/F/x) to join the Finance Team (job creation).
The company is mainly active in Private Equity, asset management industry. It is a human size organization (about 70 people globally) with offices located in Luxembourg, Brussels & Singapore. The future financial analyst will have the opportunity to join a talented multidisciplinary finance team and help support the business growth. Our client's premises are located in Leudelange.
**In your role, your responsibilities are**:
**Contribute to portfolio monitoring and group reporting**:
Prepare comprehensive performance and portfolio reports to provide accurate insights to stakeholders
Forecast and diligently monitor cash flows of the group to facilitate effective financial planning
Contribute to external reporting obligations of the group, including annual and semi-annual reports, newsletters, and press releases.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of portfolio data through consistent monitoring and proactive data quality reviews
Take the lead in designing and implementing new reporting processes, including the adoption of reporting tools for improved efficiency
Contribute to the enhancement of the internal control function:
Identify opportunities for process and systems optimization and implement best practices to strengthen internal controls
Provide support to the internal audit function by assisting with audits and addressing any identified control gaps
Contribute to the bi-annual unquoted valuation process of our portfolio companies:
Monitor key events at portfolio companies to stay updated on relevant information
Review and challenge internal valuation memos from the investment team to ensure accuracy and adherence to valuation guidelines
Coordinate with auditors and third-party advisors to provide necessary information for valuation memos.
Proactively participate in improving the overall valuation process through trainings, updating valuation models, and sharing updates on valuation guidelines
**For this position, your qualification are**:
You hold a Master's degree from a Business or Engineering school, demonstrating a strong academic background.
You have up to 3 years of experience in audit or business controlling.
You are familiar with company valuation methods or a strong interest and willingness to rapidly acquire the necessary skills.
You are fluent in English, with French considered an asset.
You are solution-oriented with strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity to explore complex challenges.
You have a collaborative mindset, actively seeking opportunities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
You demonstrate the ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
