We are looking for an experienced Chief Risk Officer to lead and oversee the full spectrum of risk management across our bank in Luxembourg. This role is critical to ensure the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks, while aligning with our strategic objectives.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Business Risk Management (BRM)**:

- Develop a regional/local approach to managing risk, focusing on ex-post controls.
- Produce the CRO Risk Scorecard for CROs.
- Generate BRM reports and provide feedback to CROs, Heads of Private Banking (HoPBs), and Private Banking Support (PBS) to enhance the first line of defense control framework.
- Coordinate with Regulatory and Risk Management Areas to implement and ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigating actions.

**Private Banking Support (PBS)**:

- Develop and maintain a framework to manage risk, focusing on ex-ante controls.
- Monitor the completion of Private Banking risk identification and assessment.
- Regularly report and resolve issues identified by the ex-ante controls with CROs and HoPBs.
- Cooperate closely with HoPBs and act as their delegate for certain functions.

**Business Development (BD)**:

- Support growth initiatives across the region/location.
- Assist the Global PB COO in senior management business development discussions and report globally against target outcomes for business growth, marketing, CRO hiring, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Support Heads of Private Banking with the implementation and/or acquisition of new referral sources, including the screening of potential business deals by analyzing market strategies and deal requirements.
- Aid Heads of Private Banking with the CRO hiring process and business case tracking.
- Assist Heads of Private Banking with commercial strategy definition according to the needs of each business unit.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience in private banking or wealth management operations.
- Strong leadership background with demonstrated ability to manage teams and implement operational strategy.
- Deep understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory and banking framework.
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
- Pragmatic, structured, and comfortable working within an international and evolving environment.
