Chief Data Officer

The Chief Data Officer is a visionary leader who drives the data transformation across the Group towards a data driven organization. He/she defines and implements data management standards and data quality guidelines that ensure compliance, consistency and reliability of data. He/she also fosters a data-driven culture and promotes data literacy and best practices among all stakeholders, to also unlock the potential in the structured use of data. He/she is able to build up a centre of competency within and for the Group around data.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Build and lead the Data Office as a centre of excellence for data governance, quality, analytics and innovation
- Develop and enforce policies and guidelines that align with the Group's strategy, values and regulatory requirements
- Report progress to the regulators (ECB) on a regular basis
- Monitor and report on data quality through data quality processes and KPIs; identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners and users
- Contribute to design the data architecture that supports the current and future needs of the Group; ensure scalability, security and interoperability of data systems
- Engage with business units and functions to understand their data needs and challenges; provide guidance and solutions to leverage data for value creation and decision making
- Identify and prioritize use cases for data analytics, impact and insights that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management and business performance; oversee the implementation and evaluation of data projects
- Create and nurture a data community that shares knowledge, best practices and feedback; inspire a data mindset and culture throughout the Group

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- 5-10 years’ experience in a senior-level data management role
- Proven experience in leading data initiatives in a complex organization, track record of implementing data competence centre
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong knowledge of data governance, quality, architecture, analytics and innovation principles and practices, particularly within Private Banking, Wealth Management and Financial companies (digital banks, brokers )

- Fluent in English and French
