Our client is a reputable financial and corporate services provider operating independently in Luxembourg. Their primary focus is to offer incorporation, domiciliation, transfer agency, and central administration services to both regulated and unregulated investment vehicles, specializing in various market.
- They are currently seeking a talented Senior Fund Accounting Officer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assume responsibility for producing, calculating, and verifying the Net Asset Value (NAV) and management accounts of a portfolio comprising regulated/non-regulated, stand-alone/multi-compartment entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, such as LUX GAAP and Fair Value Option, promptly identifying and addressing any exceptions.
- Maintain reporting compliance with legal obligations, accounting frameworks, and relevant guidelines, including LUX GAAP, IFRS, SIF law, SICAR law, RAIF law, LPA, Waterfall, etc.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual accruals, investment revaluations, and foreign exchange adjustments for financial fixed assets, securities, real assets, intercompany accounts, etc.
- Analyze and comprehend transactions and events affecting the entities' lifecycle.
- Plan the audit process, maintain audit files, and liaise with auditors.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Escalate accounting issues and support the Senior Manager/Head of the Department in team organization, control, and development.

Minimum Profile Requirements:

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a similar role within the fund services industry.
- Proficiency in AIF (Private Equity/Real Estate/Private Debt) is mandatory.
- Proficient in Excel and/or experienced with Demasy IT tool (considered an asset).
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Strong technical knowledge of LUX GAAP (additional knowledge of Fair Value option, IFRS, and Consolidation is advantageous).
- Familiarity with other GAAP (e.g., US, Swiss) or sector-specific guidance is a plus.
- Sound understanding of corporate actions and ad hoc valuation mechanisms.
- Proactive, collaborative, autonomous, and self-motivated.
- Fluency in both written and spoken French and English is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous.
