**We are seeking for a Building Manager**

**What you will be working on**:
Overseeing the daily technical operations of several KPMG offices. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the building team to ensure the safety and security of building tenants, the maintenance and repair activities and compliance in respect of regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Coordinating repairs and maintenance of all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, ventilation, heating and cooling, elevators, roofs, windows, doors, floors, walls, etc.
- Preparing and monitoring maintenance planning and budgets.
- Cost control, variance and forecast reporting
- Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers.
- Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports.
- Ensuring facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building codes.
- Providing technical support for events within the buildings

**What we look for**:
Skills and personal attributes:

- Sound technical knowledge of buildings and their plant systems
- Good organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative
- Ability to manage priorities and meet demanding customer expectations
- Innovative problem solver
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage building contractors and in-house staff
- Excellent client interfacing skills
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma in a building technology field
- A qualification in building administration considered an advantage
- Proficiency in Autocad and managing building plans
- A First Aid certificate
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Fluent in English, French and preferably German
